Coronavirus Notice

At Samuel Phillips Law, we have imposed a work-from-home policy for our entire team to limit the potential spread of infection, adhere to the Government guidance on lockdown, and most importantly keep our team and clients as safe as we possibly can.

I want to reassure you that we are operating as normal. You will continue to receive the exemplary levels of service that you have come to expect from Samuel Phillips Law. We have excellent business continuity processes in place, with technology to ensure that the service to you is as seamless as possible and protected by enhanced cyber security.

We will be monitoring the situation regularly and updating www.samuelphillips.co.uk with any new information. Your solicitor and support team can be reached as usual by telephone and email for further advice and guidance. If you are a new client to us, you can contact us through our live chat facility, by emailing reception@samuelphillips.co.uk or by calling (0191) 2328451.

This is a particularly worrying time and many clients are concerned about putting their personal affairs in order (Wills and Lasting Power of Attorneys), family matters involving childcare and financial arrangements, as well as employers worrying about business continuity and dealing with employment law matters such as how to furlough staff, make redundancies or managing in money. I want to assure you that our teams can respond to you and support you with any issues that are causing you concern.

We have taken measures to ensure that we can still conduct ‘meetings’ with you (albeit remotely) by introducing technology such as Zoom, so that it feels more personal than a phone call. If there is an area of law that you require and is one that we do not practice, we will endeavour to help you as much as possible by referring you to other firms or organisations that may be able to help you.

Our commitment to you during this situation remains as strong as ever. Thank you for your continued business and stay safe.

Kind regards,

Sharon Boyd
Chief Executive

Biz-Care

Biz-Care is a short-term, easy-in/easy-out employment law rescue package to support business owners and HR managers with bespoke, and current legal advice and guidance during the COVID-19 crisis.

The initial term is three months support at £500 per month, with the option to extend the term on a rolling monthly basis until the crisis subsides.

We appreciate that crisis management combined with cash flow issues, adds extra strain to making decisions about your workforce. If not managed properly, knee-jerk or panicked decisions can ultimately end up with you in an Employment Tribunal. This is something we are committed to helping you avoid.
