Samuel Phillips Law is a well-established and respected law firm with offices on Grey Street in Newcastle and the North East Business and Innovation Centre in Sunderland. We are looking for an experienced and driven legal receptionist for our Newcastle office.

DUTIES

  • Greeting and assisting clients and visitors to the office;
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls and emails
  • Taking card payments via Legl
  • Arranging refreshments and catering for meetings when required;
  • Overseeing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries;
  • Liaising with the landlord in relation to building issues
  • Booking meeting rooms;
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Certifying and copying ID;
  • Arranging taxis on company account
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Ensuring that the reception area and meeting rooms are presentable;
  • Archiving files;
  • Retrieving files from offsite storage
  • Ordering of stationary and office supplies;
  • Acting as a fire marshal and ensuring fire extinguishers are maintained;
  • Organising PAT testing
  • Liaising with the firm’s cleaner;
