Our Residential department is now working and functioning remotely from the office so clients and referrers please feel reassured that it is business as usual.
Whilst some people may be cautious about proceeding with their transaction during the state of lock down, there are many for whom it is crucial as they need a safe home or they may be currently living with elderly parents and do not wish to put them at any risk.
There are also others who need to sell investment property to raise funds to support themselves during hard times and people who need to re mortgage as their fixed term has expired and they need to take advantage of the low interest rate.
Provided the solicitor for the other party is operating remotely then the transaction will proceed as normal without any need to attend upon you. We are dedicated to providing commitment and good service to all our client during these difficult times.
For more information if you require any assistance, please contact our Residential Property team by emailing residentialproperty@samuelphillips.co.uk or calling 0191 2328451.
Will Arrangements & Lasting Powers of Attorney during the COVID-19 crisis
During the COVID-19 crisis and any lockdown arrangements that the government might put in place, you can be assured that our team is fully operational and able to deal with any situation to support you and your loved ones with any Wills, Probate or Wealth Management matter.
For anyone concerned about their Will arrangements, please contact our Wills, Probate and Trusts team for advice. We can take instructions remotely and get documents to you quickly and efficiently. There is no need to leave your home.
We also urge all of our clients to urgently make sure that they and their families have up to date Powers of Attorney in place at this time. This document will ensure that anyone having to self isolate can be assisted by loved ones in terms of paying bills, buying groceries etc. without exposing them to unnecessary risks.
Contact our Wills Probate and Trusts team for more information or support by emailing privateclient@samuelphillips.co.uk or calling 0191 2328451.
