Coronavirus Update

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is causing confusion and uncertainty across the globe. We are attempting to deal with the outbreak by following World Health Organization (WHO) and UK Government guidance on how to protect our staff and clients to keep everyone as safe as possible.

At Samuel Phillips Law, we have imposed a work-from-home policy for the majority of our team to limit the potential spread of infection, with a small team based at our offices on Grey Street, Newcastle until further notice.

I want to reassure you that we are operating as normal. You will continue to receive the exemplary levels of service that you have come to expect from Samuel Phillips Law.  We have excellent business continuity processes in place, with technology to ensure that the service to you is as seamless as possible and protected by enhanced cyber security.

This is a particularly worrying time and many clients are concerned about putting their personal affairs in order (Wills and Lasting Power of Attorneys), family matters involving childcare and financial arrangements, as well as employers worrying about business continuity and dealing with employment law matters or managing in money.  I want to assure you that our teams can respond to you and support you with any issues that are causing you concern. 

We have taken measures to ensure that we can still conduct ‘meetings’ with you (albeit remotely) by introducing technology, so that it feels more personal than a phone call.  If there is an area of law that you require and is one that we do not practice, we will endeavour to help you as much as possible by referring you to other firms or organisations that may be able to help you.
